The most technically advanced pressure regulating micro irrigation jet available, the Flow Regulating Jet revolutionises the irrigation of orchard, row and vine crops. An advanced alternative to standard Micro Jets & G Jets, the Flow Regulating Jet automatically adjusts to provide uniform water flow.

From a pressure of 1.5 bar to 4.0 bar, the jet regulates output to provide a consistent flow of water, e.g. 35 litres per hour, no matter what pressure the jet is under, or where the jet is placed within the irrigation scheme.



Regulating the flow of water supplied to individual plants, increases the efficiency of the crop as a whole. The uniformity of the plants ensure crop management is at its most efficient. All stages of plant development such as flowering and harvesting are synchronized. Cropping times are minimised as timescale's are shortened and profit turnaround time is maximised.

Sustainable Irrigation: Yields are increased as all plants benefit from an equal quantity of water. Previously, a high proportion of the water would have been wasted where water pressures varied significantly. The reduction in associated energy costs increase your profit margins.

The design limitations of a micro jet scheme are eased by the use of self regulating jets. The pressure adjusts automatically to compensate for undulating terrain. This self management means easy land management. Areas of land previously considered unsuitable for crops now become open to utilisation. The Flow Regulating Jet maximises the potential of your land and water, allowing a reduction in the diameter of the plastic lateral pipes required. Thus, cutting capital cost dramatically.



The Flow Regulating Jets are suitable for under tree irrigation, in vegetable crops, ornamental gardens and in seed beds. Ideal for both large and small agricultural, horticultural and orchard operations. Once established they can remain in place throughout the lifetime of the crop. These irrigation jets are ideally suited for citrus and other crops which are normally irrigated by Micro Jets and G Jets.

Up to 1.5 bar pressure, the Flow Regulating Jet operates as any other 1.0mm jet does, the output is the same. The benefits apply above 1.5 bar, when the diaphragm constrains to maintain the same flow as at 1.5 bar, approximately 40 litres/hour (with +/- 5% of stated flow at installation). This characteristic continues in a straight horizontal graph up to 6 bar pressure. See Diagram 4 below.
